About Bloom Galveston

Bloom Galveston is a community gardening program at Sunshine Center, dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through fostering a culture of kindness, civility, and mental well-being. We hope to teach individuals with intellectual disabilities about the importance of gardening while working on their independence and overall mental well-being. Beginning in Galveston, we aim to expand this initiative to communities nationwide, creating inclusive spaces where individuals can thrive.
