GOFM’s Volunteer Incentive Program

At Galveston’s Own Farmers Market, we believe that every moment you dedicate to making a positive impact through our programs is worth celebrating. That’s why we created the Voluncheers Program - an exciting new volunteer incentive program designed to recognize & reward your commitment to GOFM and your community!

 How It Works:

  1. Create an Account: Join the fun of volunteering & fill out a GOFM Volunteer Application here>

  2. Sign up for your perfect volunteer opportunity: Sign in to the volunteer portal & browse through a variety of volunteer opportunities we offer.

  3. Volunteer and Earn: Accumulate volunteer hours to earn points, and redeem rewards in increments of 25 points, up to 100!

  4. Redeem Rewards: Prizes will be awarded quarterly and you will be notified via email when it’s time for you to claim your prize at our weekly market.

What are the volunteer opportunities?

Choose from being at market, helping kids learn how to garden, make a side dish, or even spreading the word about GOFM through our outreach activities!

What are the prizes?

  • Level 1 (25 points) - Special GOFM Voluncheers sticker, designed just for our superstar volunteers!

  • Level 2 (50 points) - GOFM Mug

  • Level 3 (75 points) - $15 GOFM gift card (coffee and a croissant, anyone?) 

  • Level 4 (100 points) - GOFM Canvas Tote Bag 

Before you get started, some quick housekeeping items:

  • Volunteers are responsible for signing up for their own shifts and for checking in at designated start time! Any past shifts cannot be retroactively added.

  • If you’re watering, you must log your time spent in the gardens at the end of every shift! 

  • Prizes are to be claimed in the year in which they are earned.
