GOFM's Young Gardeners Program students are getting busy harvesting for this Sunday's Veggie Patch where they will learn what it takes to plant, grow, harvest and SELL their fresh veggies at #GOFarmersMarket!
Kids of all ages can enjoy a fun hands-on themed craft led by UTMB Kid's Club where they'll learn how to make their very own water-sensory toy to fill, shake, and play!
EcoRise and GOFM's Young Gardeners Program interns will be presenting at 1030A on what they learned during their internship! Ask questions and share in the excitement these young people have for green and environmental causes.
Learn all about John Arthur Johnson, a.k.a. the "Galveston Giant" as we celebrate his 145th birthday! Enjoy complimentary treats made by Food of Life (first 100 patrons only), handy dandy coloring Jack Johnson trading cards with fun facts by Rosenberg Library, and learn more about the amazing services & programs the Rosenberg Library has to offer!
