12/10 + 12/17 - UTMB Resiterns Toy Drive
The UTMB Residents are spreading joy with a special toy drive! They're collecting new toys to brighten up the holidays for the children at Shriners & Ronald McDonald House on both December 10 & December 17.
The Ronald McDonald House serves pediatric patients and families being treated at University of Texas Medical Branch and Shriners Children’s Texas. The house provides a comfortable place to stay while the children are receiving treatment at one of the hospitals. The facility has 20 fully-furnished rooms and a fully-equipped kitchen, along with two dining rooms. There are also bilingual staff on-site 24 hours a day to assist the families.
It's a heartwarming addition to the market, bringing the community together in the spirit of giving and making this festive season even more special.
