Currently, GOFM receives support from local donations, community sponsorships, fundraisers, and market stall fees. Galveston’s Own Farmers Market will put your gift right to work for our local food system & community.

$10/month equals:
1 wheelbarrow for a Young Gardeners Program garden site & 1 replacement wheel
6 shovels needed for monthly Community Days at 1 Young Gardeners Program garden site
MicroLife fertilizer needed for 1 Young Gardeners Program garden site
500 flyers for advertising our free "Learn to Cook!" WIC cooking classes
8 customers who will get $15 of FreshBucks for buying local fruits and vegetables when they spend $15 of their own SNAP (foodstamps)
Ingredients supplies for 5 "Taste the Market" booths, held monthly at the market

100 reusable grocery bags that we give away to first-time food-stamp & WIC customers
