We have an opportunity to purchase a pick-up truck to support our Young Gardeners Program (YGP) and Victory Gardens Program (VGP)! We’ve already received $5,000 from the community towards this truck fund—all we need is $5,000 more!

Can you help egg us on and make this truck a reality?

The truck will be used by our full-time Gardens Manager as they travel from garden to garden overseeing the crops at each site, moving garden supplies, delivering loads of compost/lumber, and preparing for Community Workdays.

To make it even sweeter, the truck can support our open-air farmers market operations, moving the piles of tents, tables, chairs and equipment required for Sunday magic!

YGP improves the health of local children for generations by building production gardens within Galveston Independent School District and implementing a STEM-based gardening curriculum for the after-school program.

All 200+ YGP students at our current 8 schools are integrated into every step of garden management (seeding, weeding, harvesting, making compost, cooking meals with their garden harvests, etc.) and take home an avg. of 1lb of garden-grown food every week of the school year.

VGP installs raised-bed high-production vegetable gardens at key Galveston partner non-school locations.

Our team manages crop production and distributes vegetable harvests to the surrounding community + folks served by our community partners.

GOFM puts in the sweat equity needed to transform the health of Galveston.

A big thanks to Our Truck Fundraising Good Eggs
