Supporting GISD Teachers in Taking the Learning Outside!
The Outdoor Learning Educator (OLE) is pioneering the integration of outdoor learning into the GISD school day. As part of Galveston’s Own Farmers Market’s Young Gardeners Program (YGP), the OLE helps teachers take learning beyond the classroom and into their campus garden.
By delivering engaging, high-quality, in-garden lessons, the OLE enriches classroom instruction while supporting teachers with ongoing resources, curriculum alignment, and tailored guidance to meet the unique needs of their students and campus.
The OLE Offers:

Weekly garden-based lessons TEK & EC aligned (No prep needed)
