We’re excited to welcome Galveston Island Beach Patrol to the Farmers Market on Saturday, July 20th from 9 AM to 12 PM!

Summer is in full swing, and there’s no better time to brush up on your beach safety knowledge—whether you’re a local or just visiting the island.

🏖️ Galveston Island Beach Patrol will be at Market with an interactive Flag Match activity, where you can test your skills by matching the colored beach flags to their meanings. (Think: red, yellow, purple—do you know what they all mean?)

It’s a fun and educational way for both kids and adults to learn how to stay safe while enjoying our beautiful coastline.
