Get ready for “Bloom & Buzz” happening 2/16 from 9a-1p at Galveston’s Own Farmers Market – where we’ll be preparing for Spring with a few of our nature loving friends! What’s the buzz, you ask?

  • Get help applying for a free Planned Natural Landscape Exemption permit to create a “pocket prairie” in your yard to add important habitat for butterflies, bees, and birds

  • Grab some free native plant seeds to support those local pollinators, thanks to the brand new Galveston County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas!

  • Discover why our island is a certified Bird City with Galveston Island Nature Tourism Council

  • & learn about springtime opportunities to get out in nature!
