The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) at the University of Texas Medical Branch has a primary mission of promoting the dissemination of information related to Asian Pacific American issues within the realm of medical education.
They are committed to exploring and addressing the unique challenges, obstacles, and responsibilities specific to Asian Pacific American medical students and physicians. APAMSA actively provides opportunities for its members to engage in community service, contributing meaningfully to their respective communities.
The association also aims to serve as a representative voice for Asian Pacific Americans as a collective within the University of Texas Medical Branch's healthcare community. In its role as a resource, APAMSA endeavors to offer valuable information on subjects pertinent to Asian Pacific Americans, fostering a supportive and knowledgeable environment within the medical field.
