Here we are, folks! The transition of 2023 into 2024, and that unique flavor of looking back while also eagerly planning ahead.
For the GOFM team, it’s a real gobstopper to contemplate our continued growth.
Just 5 years ago, I was the only full-time employee of GOFM, and we traded on volunteer passion more than I’d like to admit. (Make no mistake–I’ll sing the praises of volunteers forever and may they all know their preciousness—but I’m also a firm believer in paying people for their work.)
Today, we’re preparing to step into the new year with 10 staff, 7 of whom are full-time. Your contribution powers our people that work diligently each day to creating an inclusive market space, teaching our youth the power of gardening & produce, and promoting food equity.
